How it will work.

01

Pick your $PesitoID

Your unique Pesito handle — like @username. Short, yours, and easy to share. You can claim it today.

02

Add money

Pesito's planned funding methods are debit card and bank transfer (ACH) — no cash funding. Planned features, subject to change and regulatory approval.

03

Confirm with everything in view

Before every transfer you'll see the exchange rate, the exact fee, and exactly what your recipient gets — as U.S. federal law requires (CFPB Remittance Transfer Rule).

Built for families without a bank account.

Sign up with a phone number — that part works today. When transfers launch, the plan is bank cash-out via SPEI and, later, cash options in Mexico. Planned features — subject to change and regulatory approval.

Sign up with a phone number

A US, Canadian, or Mexican number is all you need to claim your $PesitoID today. No credit check. No bank branch. Identity verification may be required before sending, once transfers launch.

Cash pickup — planned

We're working toward cash pickup in Mexico at convenience stores like OXXO: the goal is that your family could walk in with an ID and a reference code and walk out with pesos. Planned feature — not yet available.

Or straight to their bank — planned

Prefer direct deposit? The plan is to support any Mexican bank account via SPEI — BBVA, Banorte, Santander, HSBC, Citibanamex, Azteca. SPEI, Mexico's interbank rail, operates 24/7.

Everything you want from your money.

Cash-out options, pesos, dollars — this is what we're building. Pesito is pre-launch: planned features, subject to change and regulatory approval.

Designed for fast delivery

Send to any $PesitoID or phone number. We're designing Pesito for fast delivery — with your exact fee and rate shown before you confirm.

Cash pickup at OXXO — planned

The goal: recipients in Mexico pick up cash at a convenience store like OXXO with an ID and a reference code. Planned feature — not yet available.

Bank cash-out via SPEI — planned

The plan: withdraw to any CLABE in Mexico. SPEI, the interbank rail, operates 24/7.

Pesos and dollars

One app for both currencies is the goal. We're building Pesito with no FX markup from Pesito: any rate margin would appear as a separate, disclosed line item — never hidden inside the rate.

A flat $1 Pesito fee per US→Mexico transfer — for any supported amount within app and legal limits — and $0 on domestic transfers between Pesito users (same country) ($PesitoID to $PesitoID): that's the planned pricing. We're building Pesito with no exchange-rate markup: our reference is a mid-market rate average at quote time, and any rate margin would appear as a separate, disclosed line item — never hidden inside the rate. SECURITY

Your money, your identity, your device — under lock.

We're building Pesito with what-could-go-wrong in mind. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest by our cloud infrastructure provider. The app is designed to unlock with Face ID or fingerprint — the PIN is just the backup. And before every transfer you'll see the exchange rate, the exact fee, and exactly what your recipient gets — as U.S. federal law requires (CFPB Remittance Transfer Rule).

Identity verification

To keep transfers safe and meet compliance requirements, Pesito may ask you to verify your identity before sending. Required information may vary by country, state, transfer amount, and partner requirements. We only ask for what we need to provide the service, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. Your waitlist or survey responses do not complete identity verification.

Frequently asked.

How much will Pesito cost?
Planned launch pricing — not yet available: a flat $1 Pesito fee per international US→Mexico transfer (any supported amount within app and legal limits) and $0 on domestic transfers between Pesito users within the same country (US→US or MX→MX). The $1 fee applies only to international transfers. We're building Pesito with no exchange-rate markup: our reference is a mid-market rate average at quote time, and any rate margin would appear as a separate, disclosed line item — never hidden inside the rate. Your recipient's bank or cash-out location may charge its own fees, and foreign taxes may apply. Pass-through operator fees, if any, are shown before you confirm. Final pricing is always shown in the app before you pay and may change before launch.
What do I need to open an account?
Today, a phone number or Google sign-in is enough to claim your $PesitoID. To keep transfers safe and meet compliance requirements, Pesito may ask you to verify your identity before sending. Required information may vary by country, state, transfer amount, and partner requirements. Your waitlist or survey responses do not complete identity verification.
How will my family get the money in Mexico?
When transfers launch, the plan is for your family to receive money on their $PesitoID, with cash-out options such as bank deposit via SPEI to any Mexican CLABE account, and cash pickup under exploration. These are planned features — subject to change and regulatory approval. SPEI, Mexico's interbank transfer system, operates 24/7.
Which banks will I be able to withdraw to?
Bank withdrawals are a planned feature: the goal is to support any Mexican CLABE account — BBVA, Banorte, Santander, HSBC, Citibanamex, Azteca, and the rest. Planned features are subject to change and regulatory approval.
How long will a transfer take?
Pesito is designed for fast delivery, but we don't promise delivery times. Actual timing will depend on the payment method, the receiving institution, and compliance checks. Transfers are subject to identity verification, corridor availability, limits, and compliance review.
Is it secure?
We're building Pesito with security first. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest by our cloud infrastructure provider, and the app is designed to unlock with Face ID or fingerprint. We never sell your personal information. More on security →
Will I need a bank account?
Our goal is that recipients in Mexico won't need one: the plan is to receive on a $PesitoID, with bank deposit via SPEI as an optional cash-out. On the US side, Pesito's planned funding methods are debit card and bank transfer (ACH). Planned features are subject to change and regulatory approval.
How can Pesito plan a flat $1 fee?
Pesito plans to settle transfers through Puente Railway, our settlement infrastructure partner. Modern settlement rails cost less to operate than traditional correspondent banking, which is what makes a flat $1 fee per international transfer — and $0 on domestic transfers between Pesito users (same country) — a workable plan. Planned launch pricing: final pricing is always shown in the app before you pay and may change before launch.
What is Puente Railway?
Puente Railway is our settlement infrastructure partner — the infrastructure Pesito plans to use to move money between accounts. We explain it in plain language on our What is Puente Railway page, and you can learn more at puente.sh.
Do I need crypto to use Pesito?
No. To you, your money is dollars and pesos — that's what you'd send, receive, and cash out. You won't need another app, another account, or another asset. Under the hood, our settlement partner may use regulated digital settlement rails, and we disclose that plainly on our What is Puente Railway page.
How will my money be kept safe?
When Pesito launches, user funds will be held in custody at licensed financial institutions, and users will be the beneficial owners of their balances. Pesito Technologies, S.A.P.I. de C.V. is a technology company, not a bank, and does not take deposits. Pesito is pre-launch: no customer money movement exists today.
