Waitlist and Referral Program Terms.
Effective October 6, 2026 · Version 2026-10-waitlist-v2
1. Who runs Pesito and what this document covers
Pesito is operated by Aztlan Software, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Pesito", "we"). This document sets the rules for Pesito's waitlist, the referral program and the "Help shape Pesito" survey, and says what we do with the data you give us when you take part. It sits alongside the site's Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. For any question or request, write to business@pesito.la.
2. What the waitlist is (and is not)
When you sign up you join a list to receive invitations to try Pesito and, if you want, answer a survey. That is all.
- It is not a Pesito account. Signing up opens no account.
- It is not a financial service. We hold and move no one's money, and we will never ask you for money to stay on the list.
- Pesito is pre-launch. Product features roll out only once licenses and compliance clear. Nothing in this document promises a launch date or any feature.
3. What we collect and why
When you join the list we keep:
- Your first name, last name, email and phone number (required).
- The phone number of the person who referred you (optional).
- Whether you want to appear on the leaderboard (optional).
- Your language.
- A hash of your IP address with a salt that changes every day. It serves only to detect abuse of the referral program; it is not a lasting identifier and we do not use it to track you.
- The date and time you signed up.
If you answer the survey we keep your phone number and your answers.
We use this data to: keep the waitlist; send you invitations and updates (section 4); run the referral program; show the leaderboard if you asked for it; prevent abuse; and comply with the law.
4. Texts and emails
By joining you agree that Pesito may text (SMS) and email you only about alpha, beta and launch invitations and your waitlist status. We send no other marketing.
- Confirmation first. The first text will ask you to confirm you want messages. Nothing else is sent before you confirm.
- Opt out any time. Reply STOP to any text, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to business@pesito.la. Opting out stops the messages; it does not remove you from the list unless you ask for that too.
- Rates. Your carrier's message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
5. WhatsApp Updates Channel
Pesito's Updates Channel on WhatsApp is optional and separate from the list. You follow it and leave it whenever you want, from WhatsApp itself. We do not see who follows it; WhatsApp does not share that list with us.
6. Referral program
- Your code and link. Every signup gets a referral code and a link carrying that code.
- What counts as a referral. A signup made with your link or your code, or that names your phone number as the referrer, counts as your referral. Nobody can refer themselves.
- Your place on the list. The list is ordered by number of referrals (most first) and, on a tie, by signup time (earlier first). So others can move ahead of you, and you ahead of them.
- Founder spots. There are 10,000 founder spots. They go to the first 10,000 positions on the list at the moment Pesito confirms them at launch. Founder status gives early access and a founder badge in the app; it gives no money and guarantees no account: opening an account will depend on verifying your identity and on the law of your country once Pesito is available.
- White-glove service. Founder spots (the first 10,000 positions on the list, in the order described above: most referrals first and, on a tie, earlier signup first) include white-glove service at launch: a person from Pesito walks you through setup and your first send, by WhatsApp or a call, and you get a direct line for your first 90 days. It is a service, not money; it guarantees no account, and it depends on licenses and compliance clearing. It is confirmed at launch, after the people you referred verify their phone number; until then it is provisional.
- Provisional counts. Your referral count is provisional until the people you referred verify their phone number. A referral that never verifies does not count toward a founder spot.
- What does not count. Self-referrals, fake or duplicate signups, and bought or automated signups do not count. If we find you used them, we may discount them or remove you from the program.
- Changes. Pesito may change or end the referral program. If we do, we will post it here.
7. Leaderboard
You appear on the leaderboard only if you tick the box when you sign up. It shows your first name, the initial of your last name and your referral count (for example, "Ana R. · 12"). It never shows your full last name, your email or your phone. You can leave the leaderboard at any time by writing to business@pesito.la.
8. One signup per person
We accept one signup per email address and one per phone number. If you sign up again with the same email or phone, we do not create another signup. We accept one survey per phone number.
9. Where your data lives and who processes it
We use two providers: Vercel (hosts the site and receives the form) and Supabase (database). The data is stored in the United States. If you sign up from Mexico or any other country, your data is transferred to and stored in the United States on that basis: it is needed to provide the service you asked for by signing up. Nobody else receives your data unless the law requires it.
10. How long we keep it
We keep waitlist and survey data until 12 months after Pesito launches, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. Then we delete it.
11. Your rights
You can ask us at any time for:
- Access: to know what data of yours we hold.
- Correction: to fix a wrong detail.
- Deletion: to erase your signup and your answers.
- Withdrawal of consent: to stop the messages, leave the leaderboard or leave the list.
If you are in Mexico, these are your ARCO rights (access, rectification, cancellation and opposition) under the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP). To exercise them, write to business@pesito.la from the email you signed up with, or tell us your registered phone number; we answer within the deadlines the law sets. We do not target residents of the European Union or the United Kingdom, but if you are there and write to us, we honor your request all the same.
12. Minimum age
The waitlist is for people 18 and older only. By signing up you confirm you are 18 or older. Pesito will verify your age when the app launches; if you cannot prove it, you will not be able to open an account.
13. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we post the new version on this page with its date and version number. Staying on the list after a change means you accept it from then on. No change applies retroactively.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. This does not take away any consumer protection the law of your country gives you, for example Mexico's.
