Pesito is a technology service operated by Aztlan Software, Inc., a Delaware corporation. Pesito is not a bank, does not hold a banking license, and does not accept deposits. Pesito is not authorized or supervised by the CNBV (Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores) or any other Mexican financial authority. Pesito does not hold a money transmitter license and does not transmit money today; licensing is in progress, and transfer features will not be offered until the required licenses are in place. When the service launches, user funds will be held in custody at licensed financial institutions, and users will be the beneficial owners of their balances. Pesito's settlement infrastructure, Puente Railway, is built and operated by Pesito in-house.
